ACTIF is an organization founded by four women passionate about, and dedicated to,
animal conservation and the swift protection of critically endangered animals.

Recognizing that there are many situations in which funds are needed quickly to be able to
respond effectively to animal preservation opportunities, ACTIF facilitates the immediate
connection of resources with the projects most in need.

Working closely with local communities, governments and NGO’s, ACTIF will identify, plan and
implement specific, targeted interventions to protect and conserve wildlife.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

  • Because we are not organized by committees, ACTIF can make decisions quickly and release funds rapidly. Founders are highly knowledgeable and experienced, enabling decisions to be made swiftly.

  • Our low overhead allows us to be nimble and more responsive to smaller, less publicized projects.

  • Instead of recreating the wheel, ACTIF collaborates with other donors and volunteers to enhance educational outreach in the USA and South Africa as well as leverages the framework developed by other organizations through collaboration.

  • Board members are highly educated and experienced in business and law, with access to a large professional network of resources.

  • Our access to many knowledgeable and qualified partners “on the ground” allows us to continue to build an effective network coalition of non-profits and local service providers.

  • We are committed to socially responsible investing and make all of our decisions with those guidelines in mind.
